The GUC clinic - located on the Ground-floor of the B1 Building - offers professional medical services to all GUC community members by qualified university doctors and nurses. The medical team provides emergency medical treatment and advice to all GUC staff and students during the working hours, including playground and kindergarten injuries, as well as the transfer of complicated cases to hospitals under their supervision by equipped ambulance.
Qasr El Eyni Hospital
El Qasr El Ainy Educational Hospital consists of 12 floors including 1200 beds. The eighth and ninth floors represent paid treatment. The hospital has resulted in a boom in the world of medicine as it is designed and equipped with the most recent equipments in the world. It represents a landmark in Cairo University's achievements. The hospital includes departments of general internal medicine counting eight departments, departments of internal surgery counting six departments, specialized surgeries counting five departments and cooperative medical units; (Intensive care – blood bank - endoscopy unit), central laboratories, diagnostic rays departments, surgical operations units, comprises 18 operations rooms quipped with all services; such as sterilization, anesthesia, and awakening rooms, equipped with all types of surgical microscopes, laser devices, diagnostic rays, can be stored on video devices.
